Our Commitment

The CoDAIM workshop is committed to providing a harassment-free and inclusive experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or computing experience.

We do not tolerate harassment of workshop participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any workshop venue, including talks, poster sessions, social events, and online interactions.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior from any workshop participant, including sponsors and those with decision-making authority, will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the workshop organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the workshop without refund.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all workshop venues—online and in-person—as well as in all one-on-one communications pertaining to workshop business. This code also applies to unacceptable behavior occurring outside the scope of workshop activities when such behavior has the potential to adversely affect the safety and well-being of workshop participants.

This Code of Conduct is adapted from community standards including the ACM Policy Against Harassment and similar codes used by academic conferences.
